Some boats are special because of their design, others because of their history. This beautiful Sargo 36 Explorer, hull number 80, built in 2020, combines both. We originally delivered this Sargo 36 new to its current, first owner. What makes this special is that this was already his second Sargo 36. He knew the Sargo 36 inside and out and knew exactly what he wanted when he worked with the shipyard and Nova Yachting to put together the specifications. Powerful Volvo Penta engines with hydraulic DPI stern drives

This Sargo 36 is equipped with two Volvo Penta D6-340 DPI diesel engines, each producing 340 pk, coupled to the modern Volvo Penta DPI stern drives. A key difference from older Sargo 36 models is the use of hydraulically operated clutches in the DPI stern drives, rather than the conventional mechanical shifting found in the older DPH generation.

This offers significant advantages:

• Smoother and more seamless shifting: the hydraulically operated clutches ensure exceptionally comfortable shifting between forward, neutral, and reverse.
• Greater maneuvering comfort: the difference compared to the older mechanically shifted drives is particularly noticeable when docking, mooring, and maneuvering in small harbors.
• Less shifting noise and jolts: the hydraulic clutch makes engaging the drive significantly smoother.
• Excellent integration with the Volvo Penta joystick: precise and intuitive control during harbor maneuvers.

In addition, this Sargo features an impressive range of genuine Volvo Penta options:

• Volvo Penta Joystick Docking – Simple and precise maneuvering with a single joystick.
• Volvo Penta DPS (Dynamic Positioning System) – A particularly valuable option that allows the boat to automatically maintain its position and course using GPS. Ideal when you need to wait for a bridge, lock, or harbor entrance, for example.
